Insurance
I am an In-Network Provider with the following insurance companies and networks:
-
First Choice Health Network and all participating affiliates, including Kaiser Permanente Access PPO
-
Premera Blue Cross and affiliates (Global, Heritage, Heritage and Dental Choice, Heritage Prime, Heritage Signature and Dental Choice, Individual Signature, LifeWise Assurance Co., LifeWise Health Plan of Washington Preferred, LifeWise Primary, Sherwood HMO, Sherwood HMO and Dental Choice, and out of state BlueCard [Blue Cross/Blue Shield] plans)
-
Regence BlueShield and affiliates (Asuris Northwest Health, BridgeSpan Health Company, Healthcare Management Administrators, LifeMap Assurance Company, Tricare, TriWest, ValueCare)
Please contact your insurance company to verify your eligibility and benefits, as well as any copayment, coinsurance, or deductible you may be responsible for.
I am an Out-of-Network Provider for all other insurance companies and networks. Many insurance companies have out-of-network benefits, and will pay you back part of the cost of therapy (often between 30-80%, after you've met your deductible). How this works: You pay my self-pay rate for therapy, and I provide you with a document called a superbill that you can then submit to your insurance. Your insurance pays you back directly. Check with your insurance company to learn what your out-of-network mental health benefits may be.
Self-Pay
My self-pay rate is $160 per therapy session.
Self-Pay Reduced Rate
I reserve a portion of my caseload for clients with low income to receive therapy at a reduced rate of $100. This is for clients who do not have insurance, or those who do not have out-of-network benefits. Please contact me before your intake to ask about eligibility and availability of a reduced rate spot. Note that I can't give a reduced rate to folks I'm in-network for, or those who want to use out-of-network benefits.
Other Therapy Funding Options
Even a reduced rate can be tough for people to afford, so I've partnered with therapy funding sources so that clients can apply to get therapy at no cost to them. These include the Loveland Foundation's Therapy Fund, NQTTCN's Mental Health Fund, and Powerful Voices' DMHS Therapy Voucher program. Check out these sources to find out if you or your child are eligible for therapy funding. Additionally, Liberation Healing Seattle has a wonderful referral list of free and low-cost therapy options, as well as other mental health funds.
Good Faith Estimate
You have a right to receive a "Good Faith Estimate" explaining how much your mental health care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don't have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services. You can ask me for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an appointment. Click here if you have questions or want more information.
