Mental Health Therapist
Education and Experience
Education
I earned a Master of Science in Couples and Family Therapy from the University of Oregon. This program is accredited by the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Western Washington University, where I focused on developmental psychology.
Experience
Prior to becoming a therapist, I explored how children and teens express emotions as a psychology research assistant. Outside of work, I served disabled, queer, and immigrant youth in several nonprofit and community settings. Before starting my private practice in 2019, I spent five years providing adolescent and family therapy at Ophelia’s Place, an organization dedicated to empowering girl-identified youth. I especially enjoyed working with LGBTQIA young people and facilitating trauma healing groups at this organization.
Licensure
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LF60946668) in Washington State. I follow the Code of Ethics of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT).
