Find the support and resources you need to navigate life's twists and turns. For teens ages 13-18, I ask that a parent, guardian, or other supportive adult join in the first session, unless the teen feels parent involvement would be harmful. Please contact me with any questions about this.
For pre-teens ages 10-12, a parent/legal guardian must attend the child's first session. Parental consent is required for children under 13 to receive mental health therapy.
Individual therapy can provide the direction and insight you need to reach your personal goals. See my Focus Areas page for details on the issues and identities I often work with.
Strengthen family communication, enhance your parenting strategies, and find ways to best support your teens through change. My current office space can comfortably accommodate 2 clients at a time, so I often work with parents or parent/child pairs, but do not have the space to work with larger families.
