Therapy doesn't have to be boring or intimidating. Art, games, and other activities can lead the way to the changes you want to see in your life. For pre-teens ages 10-12, I require a parent/legal guardian to attend the child's first session. Parental consent is needed for children under 13 to receive mental health therapy.
Find the support you need to navigate life changes, from someone who can listen without judgment. Your goals take center stage in our time together. For teens ages 13-18, I ask that a parent, guardian, or other supportive adult join in the first session, unless the teen feels parent involvement would be harmful. Please contact me with any questions about this.
Individual adult therapy can offer the direction and insight you need to get to where you want to be. See my Focus Areas page for details on the issues and identities I often work with.
